We are sailing towards the end of June, the month that officially inaugurates the summer and makes the longed-for holidays feel closer and closer, and which also marks the peak of the official season of weddings and ceremonies. Of course, even if the news coming from the world is not always all roses, to cheer us up there is nothing better than a good dose of shopping to style your wardrobe with something brand new and, perhaps, porte-bonheurbuying both online and in physical stores, and throwing a strategic eye on the strongest trends of the moment.
Even if the health emergency is not completely over and the geopolitical scenarios do not make us rest assured, it is also good to think about something else, preparing ourselves for when this period can finally be considered really just a bad memory.

Palm Angels x Vilebrequin
The second collaboration between Palm Angels and Vilebrequin plans to repeat the success of last year’s debut release. The new beachwear collection combines the aesthetics and references of both brands, introducing five new eyecatching prints: camouflage and spotted patterns, an art-deco inspired overlogo, a stylized tropical sunset and, finally, the iconic teddy bear with graphics paisley, also available in a mini-me version. For the first time in the new capsule there are also solid colors, with swimwear in bold and lively shades, such as sun yellow and neptune blue, as well as timeless black. All shorts feature a patch with an embroidered palm, the Milanese brand’s signature symbol.

Alessandra Milan
Bellini, Mojito, Cosmopolitan, Manhattan, Margarita. They bear the names of the most famous cocktails and, just like a nice fresh drink, they give a little sparkle to everyday life: they are Alessandra Milano’s shoes, which take shape from the simple idea of wanting to create refined, sensual and at the same time extremely comfortable. An idea born from the young designer Alessandra Colombo, a true Milanese, who never agreed to sacrifice aesthetics to meet the breathless rhythms imposed by metropolitan life. The secret lies in the craftsmanship, in the calibrated fit with memory foam inserts and in the sophisticatedly flirtatious lines.

Hugo x Bape
An unexpected and decidedly creative short circuit that arises from the meeting between HUGO, a label that draws inspiration from the Berlin aesthetic culture, and Mr. Bathing Ape®, a Japanese streetwear brand. What is born is a limited edition collection of garments that hybridize tailoring and urban codes, in which hooded sweatshirts are combined with blazers and jumpsuits become graphic pieces to be worn without interruption. There is no shortage of accessories, including skateboards, caps and socks. The color palette is also a blend that mixes red, the iconic hue of the German brand, with the unmistakable Bape camouflage.

Marcel Wanders Studio x Up To You Anthology
The Bouquet bag created by Marcel Wanders for Up To You Anthology looks like a sculpture, part of the collection that the volcanic Dutch designer has developed for the innovative brand of bags, which founded its uniqueness precisely on the colabs with internationally renowned designers and architects . Presented at last week’s Salone del Mobile in Milan, it is a shoulder strap that draws inspiration from the natural structure of the petals, whose construction, based on the peculiar combination of two modular pieces, evokes the shape of a bouquet of flowers.

Alldaylong
As soon as the temperatures soar we always like to discover new beachwear brands that make us dream of holidays even if we are still stuck in the heat of the cities. Among the latest lightning strikes is Alldaylong, a Neapolitan brand born from the inspiration of two close-knit cousins, Giusy and Patrizia. Entirely produced in Italy with particular attention to the quality and resistance of the garments, it won us over because its costumes are sophisticated, with refined colors and without too many frills, perfect to wear as a top at nightfall.
