Temperatures are expected to remain low this weekend

After cities like São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Brasília and Goiânia registered record cold this week, the forecast by the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) is that temperatures will remain low on Friday morning (20) in much of Brazil.

There is even forecast of frost formation in areas of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Mato Grosso do Sul, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Goiás and the Federal District.

Only from Saturday (21) there is a trend of increasing temperatures. The cold loses intensity, but the dawn will still be with low temperatures in much of the country. In São Paulo, on Sunday (22) the minimum will be 10ºC and the maximum, 22ºC.

The cold air of polar origin then begins to lose strength, moving away towards the ocean, early next week. According to the company Climatempo, in São Paulo the weather will be firm and dry without rain at least until Tuesday (24) when the forecast for the minimum temperature will be 12ºC. The maximum is 25°C.

According to meteorologists, the La Niña phenomenon is favoring lower temperatures in the Pacific Ocean and this should influence the entry of cold air masses in autumn and winter.

With the arrival of the intense cold wave that caused a sudden drop in temperature in practically all of Brazil, some precautions are essential to avoid the discomfort caused at this time of year.

In addition to keeping the body warm with warm clothes and skin and hair care, exercise is also indicated. If you have a chronic disease, such as arthritis, it is essential to follow an indicated treatment so that the pain does not bother you.
