The mayor of Ovalde, who was present in the hall, responded to O’Rourke with a series of insults against the Democrat and telling him that he “exceeded the limits”.
THE people disapproved of O’Rourke and the security guards escorted him out from the room after interrupting the press conference accusing the elected officials of doing nothing to stop the gun violence.
Speaking to reporters afterwards, O’Rourke said: “We owe it to these parents to take action. I want to do something now. We can do something now. But if we continue to accept this, then it is our fault“It is not only the governor’s fault, it is our fault”.
It is noted that according to the US authorities, the 18-year-old perpetrator of the attack, was allegedly severely bullied at school, while via social media had warned of his attack.
