American actor Jeremy Renner, Hawkeye in the Marvel universe, posted a video this Thursday morning (5) from his hospital room. He has been hospitalized since the first of the year after suffering an accident with a snowmobile in Nevada.
“Moment at the SPA. To lift my spirit. Thank you mom, thank you sister. Thanks to all of you for your love,” wrote the actor in the video, where he appears getting a head massage.
Renner went through surgery after suffering “blunt trauma to the chest and orthopedic injuries” caused by the snow accident.
He was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) after the accident in “critical but stable condition”, according to his representatives at the time.
The 51-year-old actor has already had two surgeries to treat injuries sustained in the accident, a source close to Renner told CNN .
Renner was found injured and taken to an area hospital.
Renner’s family released a statement Monday night thanking hospital staff and first responders while the actor remained hospitalized.
“Jeremy’s family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses who care for him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve and the Carano and Murdock families,” said a statement from his spokesperson. .
