The CEDE Foundation, Spanish Confederation of Directors and Executives, has delivered its annual awards for business excellence during the opening of the XIX CEDE Directors Congress held in Valencia.
These awards recognize companies for their contribution in areas such as internationalization, social commitment, business revitalization and innovation. Finally, there is a category that distinguishes an individual person for his or her business career and support for business promotion in Valencia.
He “Internationalization Award” has been granted to Pamesa Group, in recognition of its leadership in marking the design and manufacture of ceramic products.
The House of Charity has won the “Award for social commitment” for their care for homeless people and at risk of social exclusion. It was founded in 1906 in Valencia and its best known service is the soup kitchen, distributing food to 450 people a day.
The School of Entrepreneurs (EDEM) has been awarded the “Award for Business Dynamization”. EDEM was created in 2002 and is a non-profit foundation, located in Valencia. Its mission is the training of businessmen, managers and entrepreneurs and the promotion of leadership, the entrepreneurial spirit and the culture of effort. EDEM was created in 2002 within the Valencian Business Association (AVE).
He “Innovation Award“recognizes the activity Textile Industry Research Association (Aitex), private association for research, characterization tests and certification of articles and textile materials with application to various sectors based in Alcoy. The objective of the association is to generate technological knowledge and transfer it to textile companies so that they are more competitive, create value, and have access to new business opportunities.
Finally, the “Award to the manager” was awarded to Javier Fur Quesada, an entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience who is one of those responsible for leading the growth, diversification and development strategy of Marjal Group. This is a company located in Guardamar del Segura (Alicante) specialized in “creating memorable experiences” in the main areas of the company’s activity: residential and vacation.
