Crypto exchange Binance announced that the number of platform users has exceeded 200 million. It took the company more than two years to attract an additional 100 million customers.
Today, we celebrate 200 million – and it’s all because of YOU!
Your support is the heartbeat of our journey to 1 billion users.

The new CEO of Binance, Richard Teng, commented on the situation. He also expressed gratitude to the exchange community.
Binance celebrated reaching 120 million users in July 2022. A year and one month later, the exchange’s audience grew to 150 million people.
Then Changpeng Zhao, the previous head of the firm, said that the main obstacle to attracting the next 100 million clients was the lack of effective solutions for converting crypto assets into fiat.
After this, the company faced a lawsuit on charges from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the US Department of Justice. As a result, Zhao left his post and Binance will pay a $4.3 billion fine.
Despite this, by the end of 2023, the exchange’s coverage grew to 170 million people. At the same time, in March 2024, the volume of assets under management of the company amounted to about $100 billion.
