At USA the Pentagon decided to reopen their file UFO after 50 years and publish videos, which show strange views and are snapshots held by the US military.
According to Reuters, two top Defense Ministry officials submitted to the Information Subcommittee of the House of Representatives, 11 months after the publication of a report where more than 140 cases of UAP are reported (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) that were reported by US Air Force pilots after 2004.
“We know that our military has seen phenomena of unknown identity and because UAPs pose a potential risk to flight safety (…) we are committed in an effort to ascertain their origin“, Said characteristically Ronald Moltriwhich oversees a new team, under the auspices of the US Secretary of Defense, in the field of information and security.
Yet, Scott Bray also testifiedDeputy Director of the Navy Intelligence Service.
The report did, however, include some of the videos that the Pentagon had previously released, where mysterious flying objects are depicted, which develop very high speeds and make maneuvers that exceed the capabilities of modern aircraft. These items do not appear to have any visible propulsion system or flight control areas.
“UAPs are inexplicable, but real”
The term UFO, meaning “flying object of unknown identity” has been associated for years with the idea of alien aircraft, something that was not mentioned at all in the presentation of the report on UAP, last JuneThe researchers focused primarily on the potential risks to US national security and flight safety.
The chairman of the subcommittee Andre Carsonin his opening remarks said the Pentagon is important to remove the stigma from the sightings of such unknown phenomena. Because of this stigma pilots were discouraged by the UAP reportto be analyzed by experts.
Also, the analysts of the Ministry of Defense and the intelligence services that prepared the report they explained the origin of only one of the 144 views UAP, which attached to a large, deflated balloon. Although it did not reach any conclusions, last year ‘s report noted that these views are obviously not explained by a single cause. More data and analysis will be needed to determine if this is an “exotic” aircraft system secretly developed by the US government or a trading company or a foreign power such as China or Russia.
It is noted that Moltry and Bray were to lodge in camerabefore the public hearing. This will be the first public hearing on the subject after the Air Force ended a UFO research project with the codenamed Project Blue Book, 1969. In the 17 years of its existence, this program gathered 12,618 views UFO, the 701 of which concerned items which officially remained “unidentified”. The Air Force later said, however, that it had found no evidence of a threat to national security or evidence of alien vessels.
