The port of Castellón ruled this Friday on one of the new measures that includes the modification of tax ordinances by the City Council: raising the IBI to the port facility. Specifically, the Councilor for the Treasury, David Donate, announced on Wednesday that the coefficient for the port from 0.5 to 1 percent, for which the port facility will have to pay 55,000 euros a year more to the City Council as IBI.
The measure has not been to the liking of the President of the Port Authority, Rafa Simó, who believes that an increase in IBI to the port of Castellón will have negative repercussions.
