A video from a security camera sees the light of day and shows the shocking moment that The high-rise apartment building north of Miami Beach partially collapsed early this morning.

The pictures show a part of the 12-storey building collapsing and a wave of dust rising in the air. According to the British Independent, the video was provided by the television station WSVN 7 News and then began to circulate on Twitter.

At least one person was killed and 10 were injured, while firefighters and numerous rescue teams continue to search for tons of damage.

The death toll may rise as the search and rescue operation continues.

Earlier, it saw the light of day a video of a boy being rescued from the rubble.

According to Surfing Mayor Charles Berket, the building in Surfing, Florida, about 24 miles north of Miami on the Atlantic coast, partially collapsed around 2 a.m. (local time, 09.00 Greek time) for unknown reasons.
