This is the aircraft donated by the Greek government to the president of Cyprus – See photos

Ready for delivery to Republic of Cyprus is the new presidential aircraft CAF001which will be given as a gift from Greece. As seen in the photos posted on Twitter, the aircraft will bear the name “Republic of Cyprus” in gold letters flanked by the flags of Cyprus and the EU.

It is, as stated in sigmalive.comfor GV Gulfstream-V which was acquired by Greece in January 2003. Three months later on March 26, 2003, the first operational VIP transport mission was carried out to transport the Greek Prime Minister to Brussels.

The characteristics of the aircraft

This particular aircraft is classified as business while in some cases it is also used as a military aircraft. The manufacturing company is the American Gulfstream Aerospace. Gulfstream Aerospace first flew in 1995 and two years later secured the appropriate certificates. It is considered a VIP aircraft and has the capacity to carry 12 people.
