Holding a tripartite meeting on Cyprus on the sidelines of his presence at the UN General Assembly in New York confirmed the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Anastasiadis.
Mr. Anastasiadis was at the hotel in Athens where his proposals were presented ΑΚΕΛ for the Cyprus issue and had a meeting with both the Secretary General of AKEL Stefanos Stefanou, as well as with the journalists who were there.
Asked about this, the Cypriot President confirmed that he will have a meeting with the Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar and the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres in New York, broadcast the APE BPE.
However, he did not specify it either date, nor the form of the meeting.
Mr Anastasiadis is in Athens for the Summit of the 9 southern EU countries (EUMED) which will take place tomorrow Friday, with the participation for the first time beyond the countries of the Med7 group (Cyprus, Greece, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Malta), Croatia and Slovenia.
Soon after he will leave for New York and the work of the UN General Assembly.
