Trump plans to hold events this week despite Florida incident, sources say

Former US President Donald Trump plans to attend previously scheduled campaign events this week even after the apparent assassination attempt against him on Sunday (15), two sources told CNN.

The Republican is expected to give a speech about cryptocurrency on Monday night (16).

In addition, he is expected to appear in Flint, Michigan, on Tuesday (17); Uniondale, New York, on Wednesday (18); and Washington, DC.

Trump blames Kamala and Biden

Donald Trump has blamed President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for the alleged assassination attempt on him at his Florida golf club.

During an interview with Fox News Digital, Trump said the suspect “believed the rhetoric of Biden and Harris and acted accordingly.”

“Their rhetoric is causing me to be targeted, when I am the one who is going to save the country, and they are the ones who are destroying the country — both from within and without,” he alleged.
