Ukraine emergency: here is the new programming on TV. Skip DOC

The speech given in the middle of the night by Vladimir Putin and the attack on Ukraine that exploded shortly afterwards sparked the attention of the world by monopolizing information. Italian television also stops, and decides to revolutionize its programming to update viewers in real time on the situation in Eastern Europe: Rai1 opened the day with a long special on Tg1 conducted by the director Monica Maggioni who canceled the episode of One morning and of Italian storiesleaving it alone intact It is always noon with Antonella Clerici. The Russia-Ukraine affair is also at the center of the early evening, since the episode of DOC – In your hands has been postponed always to make way for a special on Tg1.

While Canale 5 did not foresee any changes in the schedule, concentrating the information on Morning Five News, Rai2 and Rai3 do not alternate programming, however, leaving information broadcasts to devote ample space to the issue – TG3 at 14.25, however, is broadcast in an extended version. The same goes for La7, which starts at 5pm with one Special Tg7 conducted by the director Enrico Mentana: «As is his duty La7, from the early morning, opened the continuous flow of news on the war in Ukraine. Change of programming also for Rete 4, which has foreseen aspecial edition of Tg4 is one Special Fourth Republic with Nicola Porro from 3:30 pm to 6:55 pm, followed by the usual evening edition of Tg4. The developments of Russia’s attack on Ukraine will also be followed by Barbara Palombelli with Italy tonight and by Paolo Del Debbio with Obverse and Reverse.
