Tapes containing unreleased tracks by the singer michael jackson (1958-2009) were found in a warehouse in the United States. In total, there are 12 unreleased songs on which the King of Pop worked before the album “Dangerous”, around 1989 to 1991.
The information was revealed by The Hollywood Reporter, which explains that the treasure was found in a storage unit deep in the San Fernando Valley, in Los Angeles, California.
The portal also revealed that former highway police officer Gregg Musgrove was responsible for finding the items, after being contacted by an associate who had purchased the warehouse in Van Nuys. The unit was owned by Bryan Loren, a music producer and singer.
“I went to all the fan sites. Some of them [as músicas] they are rumored to exist, some of them leaked a little”, he explained in an interview with the website. In addition to the excerpts of the songs, on the tapes, it is still possible to hear the voices of Jackson, and probably Loren, discussing the recording and the creative process.
Among the song titles, The Hollywood Reporter highlighted “Don’t Believe It”, which appears to reference the rumors that would circulate about the pop star in the media and “Seven Digits”, which refers to the identification number that the bodies receive in a morgue.
Finally, the vehicle mentions that Musgrove and his lawyer contacted the Michael Jackson Estate, which has so far refused to buy the tapes. However, they mentioned that their content cannot be publicly disclosed.
“They make it clear in the letter, however, that he and anyone else who may purchase these tapes in the future do not own the copyright to the recordings or compositions, the estate does,” cited the publication, which ends by claiming that the tapes are in a secure facility under the control of Musgrove’s attorney.
