The Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF) arrested this Friday (29) a man caught stealing from a layette store in Brasília. This is the thirtieth time he has been detained for various crimes, according to police records.
According to the PMDF, the military saw the suspect removing products from a display, hiding them in a cardboard box and quickly leaving the place. Images from security cameras recorded the moment the man stole the items and tried to disguise his actions.
This attitude caught the attention of the police team, who carried out the approach and confirmed the theft. The store manager was called and recognized the products as belonging to the establishment.
The suspect, who has several police experience, was arrested in the act and taken to the police station, where he remains at the disposal of the courts.
