A woman has been found dead in the belly of a python, which had devoured her, in central Indonesia, a local official announced today. Farinda’s husband, aged 45, and residents of Kalebang village, South Sulawesi province, yesterday discovered her body inside a reticulated python, which was about five meters long. The mother of four had gone missing on Thursday night and searches had been launched to locate her, village head Swardi Rossi told AFP. Villagers “combed” the area and soon spotted “a python with a big stomach,” Rossi said. “They decided to open his stomach and then Farinda’s head appeared.” The unfortunate woman was fully clothed inside the reptile.
